Environmental Services: Site Remediation Services Environmental cleanups are often costly, and improper cleanups may result in serious financial and legal consequences. DES takes remedial projects very seriously. DES' philosophy is to use only highly competent and experienced professionals to develop, evaluate and implement remedial programs. Our staff has conducted remediation projects on a wide range of facilities and are knowledgeable in many alternative treatment technologies. We will select specific methods and technologies for each project after evaluating the specific site conditions and taking into account the nature of the site, the types of contaminants, the cost, and the regulatory requirements which apply in that case. All remedial investigations and field work are supervised by an experienced environmental scientist, geologist, or engineer. All system design work is performed by, or under the direct supervision of, a licensed professional engineer and Licensed Environmental Professional. DES has experience with conventional, as well as innovative technologies for the remediation of soil and groundwater. DES can provide full design, engineering support, permitting services, installation, monitoring, operation and maintenance, and decommissioning for any system we develop.
