Project: Air Quality Monitoring
Description:
Performed indoor and outdoor air monitoring to determine health risks
associated with potential volatile organic compounds associated with the release
of gasoline and diesel fuel from a nearby service station. The sampling program
included on site measurement of total volatile organic vapors, oxygen, LEL, and
combustible gases, as well as specific BTEX components utilizing Drager Tube
sampling, in all basement and living areas of the homes. Air samples were, also,
collected for laboratory analysis to confirm, and detail, on site measurements.
A detailed report was prepared documenting all sampling and discussing the
sources discovered and how to remediate the problem. All sampling and analysis
were performed in accordance with standard EPA and DEP protocol and QA/QC
procedures.
